INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST/INTEGRATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

The information systems analyst/integrator is responsible for making the information systems and technologies within the organization coordinate in such a way as to allow the organization to realize the intended benefit of those systems..

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to: Director of Information Technology

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. AMR System Management
  2. Database Design/Maintenance
  3. Systems Integration
  4. Process Analysis
  5. Project Management

The INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST/INTEGRATOR shall be required to perform any other duties assigned in order to fulfill the objectives of the Cooperative.

Abilities and Skills: Must possess strong problem solving skills. Must have the ability to think logically and to apply good troubleshooting techniques. Must have the ability to be creative in the approach to problem solving. Must possess the ability to translate real-world systems into the context of a relational database model so that the power of the computer can be applied to management of critical processes. Must have good communications skills, both written and oral. Must be capable of maintaining third party vendor relations in a manner conducive to positive business success in future endeavors.  Must be self-starter and capable of working independently. Must be able to coordinate efforts with other departments and organizations so as to maximize the efforts of all concerned. Must possess the ability and the desire to engage in the process of continual learning as information systems technologies move ever forward. Must also posses the ability and the desire to teach and to share knowledge and experience with others.  Experience with Oracle, SQL, Access & MySQL databases a plus.  Experience with Javascript, C++, C# programming languages a plus.

Physical Effort: At times, job requires ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.

Working Conditions: Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be willing to travel for training for any required learning.

After an offer of employment has been made, a physical is required which will include both drug and alcohol testing. The employee is then subject to periodic, random drug and alcohol tests.

ACCOUNTING CLERK

Provides a variety of tasks related to consumer and general accounting.           

The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.  They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities required of personnel so classified.

The ACCOUNTING CLERK  shall be required to perform any other duties assigned in order to fulfill the objectives of the Cooperative.



POSITION SPECIFICATIONS


ACCOUNTING CLERK


Job Knowledge, Training and Experience:  An Associate’s Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.  A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Equipment Operated: Position utilizes personal computer, calculators and other standard office equipment in the completion of duties.

Abilities and Skills:  Must be able to carry out a variety of activities that requires high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet software. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality.  Ability to communicate with co-workers and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.

Physical Effort:  Must be able to perform the activities as listed in the position description. Activities are performed at a personal computer and desk. Sitting, walking and standing are normally used in carrying out the assigned duties.

Working Conditions: Office Environment.
